Two homes in Southborough have been broken into in the past four days, Southborough police report on their Facebook page. Jewelry was targeted in both break-ins.

The first break-in was reported on Friday night shortly before midnight by a Mt. Vickery Road resident. The second was reported on Monday afternoon by a Newton Street resident.

Police urge residents to be extra-vigilant in reporting suspicious behavior around your home and neighborhood. “Your tips are vital in helping us catch those responsible for this type of crime,” the department wrote on Facebook.

If you notice any suspicious activity, please contact police dispatch at 508-485-2147 immediately. If you have any information on the recent break-ins, you’re asked to call the anonymous Tip Hotline at (508) 485-2121, extension 600. Or you can ask to speak directly with Detective Sean McCarthy.
