During the month of August, Woodward students have been collecting pennies – among other currency – to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. At last tally, their Pennies for Patients drive had collected more than $2,000.

Southborough Boy Scout Jon Willis and his troop will hold a car wash at the Transfer Station on Saturday to raise funds for his Eagle Scout project to restore trails a Templeman Woods, a parcel of open space located off Cordaville Road just north of the Mass Pike.
