Doing Good: Southborough family holds yard sale on Saturday to raise money for pediatric cancer research

When Southborough third grader Gabrielius Bazikas was 3-1/2 years old, he was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Now nine years old, Gabi is a cancer survivor and he and his family are giving back to those who helped him get healthy.

Donate items to troop overseas on Saturday and Sunday

They’re looking for your help with donations of food and drinks, personal care necessities, and entertainment items.

Developer proposes $360K gift to offset 40B impact

The developer of the proposed Madison Place apartment complex, a 40B project to be located off Route 9 near Crystal Pond Road, has agreed to pay the town $360K to help offset the impact the development will have on the town, Zoning Board of Appeals member Leo Bartolini Jr. told selectmen last week. The sum was reached after negotiations between developer Bob Moss and the ZBA.
