Southborough Food Pantry asks for donations

Summer is historically a slow time for donations at the Southborough Food Pantry, and this summer was apparently no exception. The Southborough Food Pantry wrote on its Facebook page yesterday that their shelves are growing bare.

Below is a list of items they need most urgently. Donations can be dropped off at Pilgrim, St. Anne, St. Mark’s, St. Matthew, or First Community churches. There are also collection boxes at Walgreens on Route 9 and at Marlborough Savings Bank in downtown Southborough.

  • Bottled Juice
  • Cake/Brownie Mixes
  • Cereal
  • Chicken Soup – (NOT chicken noodle)
  • Chowders
  • Coffee
  • Cookies
  • Crackers
  • Instant Oatmeal
  • Large Juice Bottles
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Near East Original Rice Pilaf
  • Parmalat 1% Milk
  • Tea Bags
  • Dish Detergent
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Saran Wrap/ Tin Foil
  • Shampoo / Conditioner
  • Baggies
