Southborough Library hosts meditation talk – Saturday, March 9

On Saturday, March 9, at 11:00 a.m., Southborough’’s Judy Royster will speak on Meditation: Quieting the Mind, where you can learn the benefits of regular meditation and how to start and maintain a regular practice. Learn specific tools and methods for quieting your busy mind.

Judy Royster has been teaching meditation for more than 30 years. She currently teaches weekly meditation classes as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Sacred Spaces in Southborough. This program is appropriate for school age children and young adults who are interested in meditation.

Today, many physicians, therapists and psychiatrists suggest meditation and mindfulness for everything from health and longevity to stress relief and peace of mind. The talk at the Southborough Library is free and open to the public. Call the Library at 508-485-5031 for more information about this or any program at the Library.
