The Southborough Gardeners is seeking candidates for its annual scholarship. Here are the details:
The Southborough Gardeners have established a scholarship to be awarded a student who has been accepted to a school of higher learning or is presently attending college in one of the following fields: Arts and/or Sciences related to Horticulture, Floral Design, Environmental Studies, Ecology, Conservation, Agriculture, Botany or Landscape Architecture/Design.
To be eligible, the candidate must be at least a two year resident of Southborough and must demonstrate scholarship achievement and good citizenship. The amount of the award this year is $2000.
Applications are available at the Southborough Public Library and should be returned no later than Friday, April 26th, 2013.
