This Saturday, the Southborough Library is inviting the public to join its annual kids party to trim the Christmas Tree.

(Photo by Beth Melo)That morning, kids in town are invited to make and hang their own ornaments.

With the downstairs yet to be reopen, festivities will all be upstairs this year. But they will be offering the usual fun.

Craft stations will be set up for kids to make a variety of ornaments. For some, the real highlights are the candy canes and kids refreshments.

Photo by Susan FitzgeraldThe party is the perfect launching pad for Santa Day. Families park at the library for the party, then cross the street at noon to watch the helicopter landing on St. Mark’s field.

The kids’ tree trimming party is from 10:30 – 1:00 pm.

Updated (11/29/18 2:45 pm): I should have mentioned that this is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
