Obituary: Paul H. Maguire, 43

Paul H. Maguire, 43, of Marlborough, died suddenly, at home, on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

Born in Worcester and raised in Southborough, he was the son of Anne (Murphy) Maguire of Hopkinton and the late William T. Maguire. Paul was a student of Algonquin Regional High School and the Arlington School. He was an excellent skier and spent several years working as a lift operator at Snowmass in Aspen, Colorado. Paul also had a passion for auto racing and traveled across the country catering for different teams. His love for animals led him to take in two cats: Sarah, when he was in high school, and Phoebe, in the last months of his life. He was handy with computers and always willing to help out a friend. At the time of his death, Paul worked in Marlborough as a Peer Coordinator at The Recovery Connection and a Property Manager at Beantown Companies. He had a sharp wit, a big laugh, and a kind heart. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his brother, Matthew Maguire, and his wife, Lindsay of Scotts Valley, CA; his nephew, Kai Maguire; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 31, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough. Funeral and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to The Recovery Connection, 31 Main Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, Att: Brandon or Kelly.
