Teen Room fun: Make Your Own Button series and “Idea Lab” Open House

Above: The first “Idea Lab” event this year in the Teen Room will feature “button making fun”.

This month, the Southborough Library is kicking off its “Idea Lab” series for teens. The series will make use of the Teen Room as a special space for hands-on activities geared at ages 13+.

Button Making flyerFirst up, is the launch of “Button Making Saturdays“.

For three weekends this month, the room will host an hour of “button making fun”. 

Bring in clip art from an old magazine or design your own image at the “Creation Station” and turn it into wearable art!

The sessions will take place Saturdays February 15 – 29 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. No registration is required.

Next, the room will host an Introduction To Idea Lab

Intro to Teen Idea labOn Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 pm, the Library’s Val DeAngelis will host a special Open House showcasing the new feature:

Demonstrations and activities include: Art Creation Station, 3-D Printing, Laser Cutting, Video Producing, Button Making and more! No registration required.
