1 LOVERS LANE PENDING SALE? July 30, 2020 at 3:57 PM

http://www.mysouthborough.com/2013/06/06/lovers-lane-homeowners-continue-fight-over-fraud-and-construction-issues/

How could there be a pending sale on this house? Wasn’t this the house that had many newspaper articles written about it and the terrible back story about unlicensed and shoddy work? Didn’t another couple lose their life savings on this house? Does anyone know??

Were the issues associated with this property on Lovers Lane ever resolved? The property is currently being marketed by “Maple Gate Realty”

It does appear to be the one, and it doesn’t seem that court findings went the couple’s way. I can’t tell you about the current state of the house.

3 LOVERS LANE PENDING SALE? July 30, 2020 at 4:27 PM

This is the same house from the Boston Globe article:
“Family Imprisoned in House of Horrors” — 22a Lovers Lane.

The house is being marketed by “Maple Gate Realty”
“Kevin Sullivan” of Southborough, but there is no actual street address for this business.

Also, under the Division of Professional Licensure for Real Estate, “find a license” — cannot find any licensed sales person or broker in Southborough under the name of “Kevin Sullivan” that is registered with the State of Massachusetts. Does anyone know about this house, its status or this listing company / agent? How is this a pending sale? Were the issues resolved? Or not? Wasn’t there a problem with much unlicensed engineering work, including a retaining wall to the rear? Wasn’t the Town of Southborough Building Inspector involved somehow? Has the BI signed off on any corrective work, if any was done? Does anyone know? Thanks

It is now bank owned and has been “sale pending” and “back on market” a few times now. The price is low for the the area but “Caveat Emptor”!
