Pasta with a Purpose: February 11th virtual workshop to support Ronald McDonald House

Since this summer, Southborough based Allora Pasta has been hosting special fundraisers to support people in need across the world.

In the January newsletter, Allora’s owner, resident Cameo Fucci, explains her “Pasta with a Purpose” events:

Pasta with a Purpose was created as a way for me to give back to those most in need. Since beginning in June, we’ve donated more than $2,500 to organizations around the world. Thank you all for your contributions!

In 2020, Fucci’s fundraisers supported the following causes: The NAACP, Black Lives Matter, Beit El Baraka, Offre Joie, Tend to You, Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, Lebanese Food Bank, and Make-A-Wish.

Next up on February 11th is a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House:

This month, I am partnering with Ronald McDonald House New York, @rmhnewyork an incredible non-profit which supports families from around the world who are receiving pediatric cancer treatments in NYC by providing a warm and comforting home away from home.

As a way to help those in need and to lift the spirits of those fighting, 100% of proceeds from February 11th’s Virtual Pasta Making Workshop will go towards supporting the families at RMH-NY. I am so happy to partner with them this month. Let’s get cooking!
