If you enjoyed the Southborough Summer Concert series last week, make sure to bring your blankets/chairs over to 53 Parkerville Road again next week.

The next act to hit the outdoor stage at Neary field is Hit the Bus. They are scheduled to perform Wednesday, July 28th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

As always, the concerts are free. But you’ll want to bring your wallet for dinner and/or a treats. The Town has booked three food vendors to attend.

They are The Grub Guru food truck (featuring Asian fusion street food and Mediterranean), Yummy Mummy Bakery, and Uhlman’s Ice Cream.

For those of you not familiar with the popular local band, members describe their genre as an “eclectic mix of music ranging from the 50’s to Today.” In 2019, the Town promoted:

The group blends rock, acoustic melodies, and electronic to create a unique sound.

Here’s a taste of what that sounds like via SAM’s video of the band playing in the series five years ago:

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the rest of the summer. The remaining schedule for this season is:

  • Wednesday, July 28 – Dan Gabel and The Abletones
  • Monday, August 30 – Knock on Wood (postponed from earlier this summer)
