Obituary: Marie (Pessini) Kensinger, 83

Marie (Pessini) Kensinger, 83, of Fayville, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at her home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert Kensinger, who died in 1991.

Marie was the manager of the hardware department for Sears and Roebuck for many years and the caregiver of her mom, Caroline. She loved entertaining and having family dinners. Being quick witted, she enjoyed the banter with each of them. Marie also enjoyed relaxing with an evening cocktail, no matter where she was. In 1994 she purchased a condo in Aruba, where she spent many weeks of the winter. All of her family would join her there at one time or another.

Marie was a member of Southborough Catholic Women’s Club, St Matthew Church in Southborough where she was an Eucharistic Minister and Southborough Senior Citizens. She volunteered at the Council on Aging and as an avid reader at the Southborough Library. Marie’s greatest joy was being with her family.

She is survived by her sister in law, Elda Pessini; her nieces, Debbie Allard and her husband Gary; Karen Crist and her husband Trevor; Linda Powell and her husband Jason; their children, Dakota and Kayla Allard; Park and Sierra Crist; Grant and Elena Powell and many cousins.
