This year, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is again inviting the entire community to join them for the Annual Blessing of the Animals. The event comes with additional incentives to attend beyond the special blessings:

The event is this Sunday, October 1st at 4:00 pm at 27 Main Street. It is timed for the week of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals.

The church invites:

Come to have your favorite animal(s) blessed and stay for pony rides and to “chat with a vet”—a veterinarian who is also a parishioner. This is an outdoor event held on our grounds at 27 Main Street, Southborough. Please bring your animal(s) suitably leashed or restrained. Or, if your animal can’t travel, bring a photo or a stuffed animal toy. For more information, contact Anne at office@stmarkssouthborough.org or 508-481-1917.
