Tomorrow, tweens and teens ages 12+ are invited to learn about what happens “Behind the Scenes of a Fashion Photo Shoot”. The program will “demystify” how images and clothes are manipulated to create “unrealistic and unattainable” images.
The free talk is being offered by Southborough’s Brooke Kanal, “a freelance fashion stylist with over 20 years in the fashion industry working on shoots”.
Kanal’s presentation:
pulls back the curtain on the intricate techniques and creative strategies used by industry professionals to craft seemingly flawless fashion imagery. Brooke will reveal the secrets and tricks of the trade stylists use to ensure the models clothing and photos “look” perfect, and to demystify these images that are unrealistic and unattainable. Come explore this side of the fashion industry and learn what it takes to produce a professional fashion photo shoot and how to put these images of perfection into a healthy perspective.
