In less than two weeks, the Northboro-Southboro Youth Football and Cheer Association is holding a free “non-contact” clinic for K-8 boys and girls. (The season begins in August, so I’m guessing grade levels are meant to be the grades they are “entering”.)
The event is an opportunity for families to learn more about the youth sports program.
According to the Facebook event, the “Flex” program is for grades K-3. The tackle program is for 4th grade/age 9U and older
Although the event is free, registration is requested.
The clinic will take place on Wednesday, June 4th at from 5:30-7:30 pm at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough. It will be run by Algonquin Varsity Football Coach Mark Allen.
The association promotes:
You are welcome to join if your son or daughter is interested in trying out the sport, or if you’re already a T-Hawk and want to join the clinic! Come meet our coaches, ask any questions, see how we prioritize safety, and what an amazing opportunity this sport provides our youth! It’s a great way to come try things out before registering!
For those who do register to play with us for the Fall following the event, we will be offering a limited time discount on registration fees!
Participants should wear cleats and bring water. Click here to sign up for the clinic. (Or click here to learn more about NSYFCA.)
