In two weeks, the Southborough Library is bringing back their go-to expert on tea and chocolate for another special program. This time, registration is required for the free event, since space is limited.
The event for all ages will have an Alice in Wonderland Tea theme.
In this colorfully themed program, Kim Larkin, commercial chocolatier from Klassic Kreations, will celebrate author Lewis Carroll’s eccentric, whimsical characters from Wonderland. Victorian tea traditions and famous English chocolatiers from Alice’s day will be highlighted, as we pair fine teas, chocolate and tea party treats. Wonderland trivia will add to the fun, so come escape down the rabbit hole and embark on this tasty tea adventure, just as Alice did!
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th 1:00 – 2:30 pm on the Library’s main floor.
The library has brought in Larkin to run food/beverage workshops several times over the years. Tea and chocolate programs have included history and trivia and introduced attendees to new flavors and pairings. The free tasting samples have made the events popular.
As of this morning, there were less than 20 spots left. If you don’t want to be too late to sign up for the very important date, click here.
