Fay School is inviting back young families to join them for a monthly evening frolic. The school is resuming its summer series of Sunset Playdates:
Join us this summer for a fun family night out on our playground! Enjoy live music by local children’s musicians and an after-dinner popsicle!
Participation is free and open to the public but does require pre-registration. And parents must accompany their children at all times during the event.
The series is designed for young children.
The events take place from 6:00-7:00 pm on a weekday evening. (So far, it is only scheduled for June and July. I’m not sure if there will be one in August.)
The first Sunset Playdate of the season will take place in less than two weeks, on Tuesday, July 24th, featuring popular children’s musician Stacey Peasley.
Some readers may be familiar with Peasley from past events in town, including children’s concerts through the Southborough Summer Concert Series.
The singer’s website promotes:
With “energetic beats, catchy melodies, and soaring vocals,” Stacey Peasley’s music and performances have been gathering accolades and fans for over a decade!
Her music is designed to engage, inspire, and entertain children and their families.
Witty, memorable, and never condescending to children, Stacey’s music ranges from songs about childhood, family life, and social/emotional well being. Programs are interactive and include movement, childhood themes, seasonal topics, imaginative play, relationship building, and more.
The fun takes place on Fay’s Lower School playground. Please park in the Brackett House parking lot, which is located at 31 Main Street.
On Thursday, July 10th, Evan Haller of Music of the Blissful will continue Fay’s series.
There are no pre-posted rain dates. If either event needs to be cancelled or postponed, registered attendees will be emailed. Fay will also update its event page.
