  • Live Music with Matt Zajac (8:00 – 11:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Acoustic performance by the lead singer/songwriter for Garden of Hedon (“a psychedelic retro blues rock band”. For details, click here.

Saturday, June 14, 2025

  • Art on the Trails Installation (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Beals Preserve: Artists will be installing their work as part of the 9th Annual exhibition of Art on the Trails. The public is invited to watch and to meet the artists. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Full – Tea in Wonderland (1:00 – 2:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: This program is at full capacity. Register to celebrate author Lewis Carroll’s eccentric, whimsical characters from Wonderland by learning about Victorian tea traditions and famous English chocolatiers.   • Flag Retirement Ceremony (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Transfer Station: Veterans of VFW Post 3276 and American Legion Post 161 will be conducting their annual ceremony to respectfully burn worn out flags. For details, see dedicated post.

Sunday, June 15, 2025

  • Art on the Trails (dawn to dusk) @ Beals Preserve: Opening Day of the exhibit installed on Saturday, available to enjoy daily through September 14th. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Shir Joy Spring Concert (7:00 pm) @ Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 East Main St, Westborough: “Songs of Truth, Justice, & Peace” Concert. For details, see dedicated post.

Monday, June 16, 2025

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly opportunity for senior crafters to work on their projects in a social setting, including knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point. For details, see related post.
  • Therapy Dog (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Destress and relax by spending some time with a certified therapy dog. For all ages. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Last Day of NSBORO School year (early dismissal times by schools are ARHS at 11:06 am, Trottier at 10:50 am, Neary at 11:50 am, Woodward at 12:05 pm, and Finn K-1 at 12:20 pm and Pre-K at 11:00 am)
  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Narcan Training (6:00 – 6:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Register for free training to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses with a free kit. For details, see related post. To register, click here.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Pajama Story Time (7:00 – 7:45 pm) @ Southborough Library back lawn: Wear your pajamas, bring a blanket and join us on the lawn for story time! (In cases of inclement weather, story time will be held indoors.)
  • Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)
  • Live Blues Jam n’ Open Mic (8:00 – 11:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Come play or sing with the house band and fellow musical talent, or just enjoy the show. For details, see restaurant website.

Thursday, June 19, 2025 — Juneteenth

  • Town Facilities closed: Town Offices, the Southborough Library and Senior Center are closed for the state holiday..
  • Karaoke (9:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Come and be the star. DJ and Karaoke at Owens every Thursday.

  • Dull Men’s Club (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Casual social club for senior men. New members are always welcome to drop in. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Canasta (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group playing “Hand & Foot”. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Kids Jam (11:00 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Newborns through preschoolers are invited to dance and sing. No registration necessary. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see related post.
  • Comics Button Making (3:30 – 4:45pm) @ Southborough Library: Staff will aid kids ages 11-19 in using discarded comic books and graphic novels to create their own personalized buttons. For details, see related post.

  • Community Yard Sale (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Come out to shop for bargains from community members selling their yard sale items. (Rain date: June 28th.)
