This week, the Boston Globe published photos from the high school spring season, “representing the best of spring sports” from submissions by 250 participating high school students. They selected 96 photos taken by “over 50” students. Two of them were Algonquin Regional High School students (now rising seniors).
The story featured three photos by ARHS Laura White and one by Sophia Lalau. All four pics were from ARHS competitions this spring. You can find those here.
You can also find more of of the both students’ shots (including ones unrelated to sports) from stories posted in the Algonquin Harbinger (White, Lalau) and on Instagram (White, Lalau). Below is an example of one of White’s posts. (Lalau’s weren’t embeddable.
White has been especially prolific with her photography coverage of Algonquin sports and events. Earlier in the school year, three of her photos made the Globe’s list for the winter season list, and one the fall season, and was included in last year’s winter and spring lists.
