The coming week is a bit quiet in town as we head towards the big July 4th holiday. But there are some events happening in (or related to) our town. Here are the highlights tonight through next weekend.

- American Legion Baseball home game (5:30 pm) @ Memorial Field, Northborough: The local team of high school and college freshman baseball players (including Southborough residents) is scheduled to play Main South. For details, see related post.
- Live Music (8:00 – 11:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Performance by local musician JP White and the rock & blues band Soulshaker. For details, see restaurant website.

- DIY D&D Dice Box (2:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Eaton Room: Registration is required for this free library event for ages 12-18. May your own dice box with a dragon eye. For details, see dedicated post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly opportunity for senior crafters to work on their projects in a social setting, including knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point. For details, see related post.

- Kids’ 4th of July Parade (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library: Kids will march in a fun, patriotic parade followed by ice cream. For details, see dedicated post.
- Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Senior Center registration opens for July-August programs (10:00 am) For details, see dedicated post.
- Outdoor Story Time (4:30 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library lawn (or in Children’s Room if it rains): Bring blankets for the lawn and enjoy stories from picture books read aloud.
- Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)
- Friends of the Southborough Library Meeting (7:30 pm) @ where: Monthly meeting to discuss funding library programs and planning for upcoming fundraisers. We’re always happy for members/prospective members to join us! Learn more here.

- Drop-in Patriotic Crafts (11:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Drop in any time to make a variety of crafts! All ages welcome and no registration is required
