In less than two weeks, the NSBORO School librarians will put on their 3rd annual district-wide “Community Celebration” of reading.

NSBORO Reads will take place on Tuesday, February 3rd from 5:30-7:30 pm.

The free event will include guest readers, Book Bingo, a free raffle, bookmark making, Green Screen Photos, character scavenger hunt & more.

The promos don’t say that registration is required, but they are asking people to RSVP. (You can do that here.)

The celebration will take place at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St in Southborough. The flyer instructs attendees to enter through the doors by the cafeteria (at the front of the building).

NSBORO reads t-shirt design (image from NSBORO newsletter with design credit to Aksharaa Sudarsan) In early December, the Superintendent’s weekly newsletter included the news that Trottier Middle School 7th grader, Aksharaa Sudarsan was the winner of the annual art contest for the NSBORO Reads T-shirts. (The fundraiser sale of the shirts is closed. But you’ll likely see some folks sporting them at the event.)

According to the flyer, the event is again made possible through support from the district’s parent organizations (SOS, APTO, and Northborough schools’ PTOs).

You can check out some photo highlights from last year’s celebration in the ARHS Harbinger here.
