The Southborough Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) is seeking volunteers to help them prepare for the next round of grants to support arts and culture in/for our community.
While I’m sharing their news, I’m also updating on the other vacancies on Town committees that need to be filled.
SCAC’s Call for Volunteers
The SCAC’s Chair asked me to share their recruiting message for new members:
The Southborough Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) works to enhance our community by creating greater access to art and cultural programming through an annual grantmaking program funded by the State of Massachusetts, in addition to supporting the Town’s strategic efforts to create a more culturally vibrant and economically strong community. SCAC is preparing to launch two new grant programs in FY26 and FY27.
You can read the full advertisement, including a description of the council, the role they are seeking to fill, and the time commitment and schedule here. You can also find them on Facebook here.
