Check out discounts to museums and parks

The Library offers passes for discount/free admission to many indoor and outdoor venues. Most are open on the 4th. (But you may need to pick up a pass by tonight.)

Occasionally, I like to remind readers of all the great museums and parks that the Southborough Library offers discount admission to. The passes are available to anyone with a library card.

Summer is an especially great time to take advantage of the options. And given the extreme heat forecast to continue through Saturday night, many of the indoor ones can be great options for 4th of July fun or celebrating the nation’s history. Art on the Trails calls for inspired poetry by July 31st

As I’ve previously posted, the installation of this year’s Art on the Trails exhibit took place a couple weeks ago. I noted that organizers would again be calling on poets to take inspiration in the exhibit.

WooSox Southborough Town Takeover — July 22nd

A share of residents' ticket sales will go to the Town Scholarship Fund.

The Worcester Red Sox is again challenging Southborough residents to dominate the stands at their friendly “Town Takeover” competition this week.
