St Mark’s Episcopal Church is inviting the community to join them for “an evening of joyful singing!” The Community Hymn Sing will take place a week from Saturday on November 15th at 5:00 pm.
The church promotes:
All are welcome—whether you love traditional hymns, gospel favorites, or simply enjoy the beauty of voices lifted together in song.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to share in this uplifting time of music, fellowship, and community spirit. No experience is needed—just a willingness to sing and celebrate together!
Their announcement further explains:
A Community Hymn Sing is an informal gathering where people come together to sing their favorite hymns—without worrying about liturgical constraints—often accompanied by the organ and/or keyboard. The goal is to build community, deepen our knowledge of hymns by exploring their history, and share our personal connections to the music.
This event is open to people of all ages and musical backgrounds, from St. Mark’s community and beyond. Refreshments will follow in the Parish House.
