I’m reminding readers that this Monday is the deadline to put your home on the decorated homes map. Even if you don’t think you’d win a contest — If you invested time (or money) in putting up a display that you’re really proud of, make sure community members know where to find you! It’s also not too late to jazz up your yard and add more creativity before voting begins.
And if you think you may have an award-worth display, make sure to register in time to win those bragging rights and a prize.
As I’ve previously posted, Southborough Recreation is encouraging the public to register for its Second Annual House Decorating Contest.
The department plans to use the info to create this year’s map for the community. They hope it will make it easier for residents to figure out what streets/areas they can drive around and enjoy. And, of course, we’ll all be encouraged to explore the marked spots before voting on our favorites.
