If you’re interested in a free workshop making whimsical art, don’t be late to sign up for this very important date — Saturday, March 21st.

The Southborough Library is holding an Alice in Wonderland inspired crafting event for teens and adults ages 12 and older.

The “Oversize Teapot Art” workshop is sponsored by the Southborough Community Fund.

Participants are invited to decorate “larger than life” 12 inch wide, wooden teapots, “the perfect blank canvases to help us fall down the rabbit hole of creativity and whimsy”.

Crafters/artists will be able to use paint, distressed inks, stamps, and apply colorful collage images:

In this unique art program, we will be channeling the wit and wisdom of Alice and the other fun characters from Wonderland. “It’s no use going back to yesterday because I was a different person then,” will be one of several quotes that can be incorporated into our teapot project.

The event has limited registration. To sign up, click here.
