Next week, magician Ed Popielarczyk is returning to the Southborough Library to tickle kids’ funny bones again.
Ed’s website describes:
My magic show uses a lot of audience participation. The kids are the stars because they make the magic happen.
He’s clearly been a hit with Southborough kids, since the library keeps bringing him back.
Over the years, the entertainer has brought a flea circus to the Library and twisted balloons for kids while making them laugh. More frequently, he’s performed a comedic magic show — as he did the past four Augusts. (In 2020, while the building was closed to the public, he also taught children magic tricks through videos on the Library’s Facebook page.)

Popielarczyk’s next Southborough show takes place Tuesday, August 11 at 4:30 – 5:15 pm, indoors. The show is open to the public, no registration required.
The event is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library as part of the Summer Reading program. So, be sure to swing by the Children’s Room before or after to have kids check out some books and enjoy activities!
