I’ve created this page to keep track of the upcoming events related to the winter holidays* (and shopping). These are mostly events in Southborough. But I also included concerts for community choruses and singing groups in our area that include Southborough singers.
I’ll be updating it with links to more details as they are posted. I’m also removing events after they happen to make it easier to find what is still to come.

Animated Advent (7:00 pm) @ Pilgrim Church, Fellowship Hall, 15 Common Street: A four week fim series will use movies for all ages to highlight an important religious theme. This week’s movie is “Ponyo” for the theme Joy. For details, see dedicated post.

St. Anne’s Christmas Pageant (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ St. Anne Parish, 20 Boston Road: The Parish’s annual Children’s Christmas Pageant. Please come support our young thespians – all are welcome!
Southborough Safe Spaces – Holi-gay Youth Party (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Church, 27 Main Street: Event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. The party includes a movie, yankee swap, and dessert potluck. For details, see their Facebook post.

Interboro Community Band Winter Concert (2:00 pm) @ Westborough High School, 90 W Main St: A free symphonic concert for the public featuring “Seasonal Favorites & Other Music from the Symphonic Band Repertoire”. For details, see dedicated post.
AVM Messiah Sing (3:30 pm) @ First Church, 37 High Street, Marlborough: Assabet Valley Mastersingers regional chorus will perform the Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio and the “Hallelujah Chorus” with audience participation and organ accompaniment. For details, see related post.
Winter Maker’s Market (by appointment 11:00 am – 4:00 pm) @ Apothecary Artists, 1 Boston Rd: Artisans will be selling home-decor, jewelry, soaps, candles, ceramics and artist originals, including “Southboro Gear”. For details, see dedicated post.

Gingerbread House Decorating (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Free program for ages 8+. (Registration is limited.) Team up with a friend or family member to decorate a gingerbread house! For details, see dedicated post.
ARHS Holiday Concert (6:30/7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School Auditorium, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: The school’s annual Christmas concert traditionally brings together both instrumental and vocal groups. For details, see dedicated post.

NSBORO Schools early dismissal for Holiday break: Public Schools of Southborough and Northborough start the winter break with an early dismissal. School doesn’t resume until January 2nd.
