Stand Up Now: Demonstration Today & Upcoming Events

A monthly "Patriotic Standout" is scheduled for this afternoon. Other events for community members who want to "support democracy" in opposition to "anti-democratic action and extremist rhetoric" are coming this month.

An organizing member of “Stand Up Now (SUN)” asked me to share an announcement with readers about the Southborough-based “pro-democracy group” and upcoming events it is holding “to respond to anti-democratic action and extremist rhetoric”.

Southborough History & Art Museum promotes Opening & Art reception — Jan 17

SHS plans to celebrate a "permanent" Grand Opening with a talk by the four Southborough artists whose work is on exhibit. That will be followed by the launch of classes, lectures and workshops.

Help shape the schools' future by answering the districts' survey and saving the date for one of the upcoming forums.

Reminder: Apply for 2026 NSBORO Story Bridge by Jan 12th

Aspiring storytellers in the NSBORO community are invited to apply to take part in the district's 4th annual program. Participants will learn how to tell their stories for a public showcase.
