NSPAC offers presentation on recognizing and treating concussions in adolescents

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as many as 3.8 million concussions occur each year during sports and recreation activities. Athletes who have had a concussion are at increased risk for another. Through an upcoming presentation, the Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parents Advisory Council (NSPAC) wants to help parents learn the warning signs of concussions and what to do about it. Fay School to feature Paralympian at speaker series next week

On Thursday, September 15, Fay School will host a screening of the documentary film One Revolution, which tells the story of paraplegic Chris Waddell’s climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro using a specially designed hand cycle. Waddell will be at the screening and will speak beforehand.
