If you’re anything like me, you’re intensely curious about the fate of the Garfield House — the historic stone mansion on Main Street between Parkerville and Deerfoot Roads that was scheduled to be auctioned off tomorrow. When I stopped by the reservoir off Middle Road earlier this week to take photos of the algae bloom, I got lucky. As I pulled up I saw four great blue herons hanging out by the water.
