The Heritage Day road race has been canceled

The Southborough Rotary Club announced today it was forced to cancel its annual Heritage Day road race scheduled for Sunday, October 7, due to low pre-race registration. This year was to be the 36th annual running of the Heritage Day 5K. All proceeds from the race were to benefit the Southborough Food Pantry and Rotary International’s effort to eradicate polio. Fall is upon us, and that means its Bargain Box time again. The consignment/used clothing store run by St. Mark’s Church offers clothes and accessories for women, men, and kids. Breaking news: Mosquitoes infected with West Nile have been found in Southborough
The Central Mass Mosquito Control Project announced today mosquitoes infected with the West Nile virus were found in Southborough. The virus was detected in mosquitoes trapped on Newton Street on August 28. No cases of human infection in Southborough have been reported.
