MWDN: Southborough eliminates town engineer position
Southborough Town Engineer John Woodsmall recently accepted a position as the public works director in Holden (congrats, John!). His last day on the job was Wednesday. The Board of Selectmen this week decided to replace Woodsmall not with another town engineer, but with a staff engineer. It’s a move that is expected to save the town about $20K per year.
