Algonquin girls soccer and tennis teams celebrated
Last month members of the Algonquin girls soccer team were awarded plaques to commemorate their 2009 state championship win. And last week, they were honored by Southborough and Northborough’s state representatives at the state house. The Northborough/Southborough Pop Warner Midget class cheerleaders placed an impressive third in their division at the national championship competition held at Disney World last Friday. Algonquin girls win the state championship
The Algonquin girls soccer team captured their first-ever state championship yesterday, beating out nationally-ranked Acton-Boxborough by a score of 1-0.
