Steeple Coffeehouse opens for the season on Saturday

Steeple Coffeehouse, located in Pilgrim Church’s Fellowship Hall, will open its 17th season on Saturday with a special performance by the venerable Aztec Two-Step. MWDN: Man wanted in Southborough copper theft charged

When Southborough police interrupted an alleged copper theft in progress at NStar early last month, one suspect was arrested at gunpoint but another was able to run away. The Metrowest Daily News reports this week the suspect who got away was arrested and arraigned recently in Westborough District Court. Selectmen approve license for new ‘country market’ on Route 9 westbound

Southborough residents will soon have another option for their beer and wine needs. The Board of Selectmen earlier this month unanimously approved a liquor license for Sperry’s Country Market which will set up shop on Route 9 westbound at Middle Road in the other half of the building currently occupied by Red Barn Coffee. Series of debates between Eldridge and Cavaretta starts tonight
Incumbent state senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) and challenger Dean Cavaretta (R-Stow) will face off in a series of seven debates, with the first taking place tonight in Devens. The two are vying to represent the Middlesex and Worcester District, which encompasses 14 communities including Southborough. Go pink at Salon Charisma this month to support breast cancer research

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Southborough’s Salon Charisma is holding a fundraiser to put you in the pink. For a $10 donation, they will add a pink hair extension to your hair, and all of the proceeds will go to the Rays of Hope Foundation.
