Probably Southborough’s most unique wedding ever

It’s a good bet you’ve heard about this one already, but on the off-chance you haven’t …
Last Saturday Southborough residents Lauren Richey and Scott Miller got married on a commuter rail train traveling between Southborough and Wellesley. The two met while commuting on the train in 2005.

Adam Sandler and crew aren’t the only actors in town. Earlier this month, Algonquin students performed a special edition of Les Miserables in honor of the late Dennis Wrenn.

More than 700 in Southborough are without power

National Grid says 767 customers in Southborough are without power right now. According to their website, power should be restored by 12:30pm. No reason for the outage was given.

Help find Southborough’s new police chief

Do you care about law enforcement in Southborough? If so, the Board of Selectmen wants to hear from you.
Earlier this month selectmen announced the formation of a search committee that will help find a new permanent police chief for Southborough. But so far, only four candidates have volunteered.

Today is Walk to School Wednesday at Finn

The Southborough Recreation Department is sponsoring Walk to School Wednesdays to promote physical activity and practice safe walking to and from school.
Today and next Wednesday, Finn students are encouraged to walk to school with an adult if they live close enough. If not, they can drive to the Arts Center and walk from there.
