Scott Brown takes Southborough by a wide margin

The results for Southborough are in, and Republican Scott Brown was the clear winner with 59% of the votes. Democrat Martha Coakley came in at 40%, and Joe Kennedy got the remaining 1%.

Southborough has been lovely today with big fat flakes drifting down all day. On top of yesterday’s wet snowfall, the roads this week have been sloppy, but Fire Chief John Mauro Jr. reports few problems.

Light snow is falling on top of the heavy, wet stuff we got yesterday. The National Weather Service says we’re in for another inch or two, hopefully not enough to keep folks from getting to the polls today.
