Rotary to host crime prevention seminar next Tuesday

The recent break-ins had us all on edge. And just because a suspect was arrested in those crimes, doesn’t necessarily mean we can rest easy now. As one commenter put it, there’s “no reason to let our guard down.”

Next week Southborough Rotary will host a crime prevention presentation by the Southborough Police Department where they’ll discuss neighborhood and home safety along with credit card scams.

The talk will take place at Rotary’s regular meeting on Tuesday, January 11 at 7:00 am (yes, that’s AM) at St. Mark’s Parish Hall located at 27 Main Street. All are welcome to attend. If you’re going please RSVP to Chris Robbins at 508-735-6100.

Coffee and donuts will be served.

If , in fact, you are trying to do something about “Crime Prevention” you better check out this program with REACH a Child… it is being called , “The fastest growing Crime Prevention program in the country…” because it provides an officer with a bridge to interact with a child in the midst of a crisis situation through the gift of Literacy ( a children’s book ) to help the child shift their focus to something positive and that reflects upon the officer as well in making that all important “First Impression” in a positive and meaningful fashion! Visit the website at http://www.REACHaChild.org for more information and read the Testimonial Page and view the Media/TV coverage that it has received!
