The Southborough Historical Museum is a little-known gem in town. Nestled behind Pilgrim Church, the tiny white building – which used to be a one-room schoolhouse – holds treasures from Southborough’s past. You’ll find everything from artifacts of our rural heritage to a fascinating display about the Burnett Apothecary.

On Sunday, October 28, the museum will open its doors for a Fall Open House. Stop by any time between 1:00 and 4:00 pm to check out the exhibits for yourself. You can also pick up Southborough-themed gifts for the holidays at the museum shop. Admission to the museum is free.

The museum is located at 25 Common Street in the historic Flagg School just behind Pilgrim Church. In addition to the open house this weekend, it’s open Sundays throughout the fall from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, with the exception of holiday weekends.
