It’s time for the winter sports season at Algonquin. The action begins on Friday with home openers for both the girls and boys varsity basketball teams. Assabet starts their season on Thursday with a boys hockey match-up against Milford.

Cable access group says non-profit status would enable more programming

Members of the Cable Access Committee told selectmen last night they want to form a non-profit entity to manage the public access system in Southborough, and that doing so would open the door to more programming for cable access viewers.
