Police logs: OUIs, prostitution, and nasty surprise in the mail

Southborough Police have been busy. On the dates of logs shared, some arrests were made and police assisted in search for a missing juvenile (later found).

They also responded to a complaint about something placed in a mailbox.

Thursday, November 13, 2014:

  • 0016 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious party outside of a Boston Road business. The individual checked out ok.
  • 0033 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious party parked outside of a Turnpike Road business. The individual checked out ok.
  • 0237 hrs- ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol; Marked Lanes Violation; No Inspection Sticker; Person Under 21 Possessing Liquor; and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
  • 0618 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check of a Turnpike Road resident.
  • 0711 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 0929 hrs- Officers responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of a customer leaving without paying. The incident was investigated by the responding officer.
  • 1211 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 1329 hrs- Solicitors registered at the police station.
  • 1412 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a St. Martin Drive business.
  • 1833 hrs- An officer responded to a Blackthorn Drive residence after a resident called to report that someone had stuck a bee hive in his mailbox. 
  • 1841 hrs- Officers investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Parkerville Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1844 hrs- ARRESTED: A Pepperel woman was charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee (Prostitution).
  • 1854 hrs- Officers responded to a disturbance at a Turnpike Road residence. Officers kept the peace at the scene, and cleared shortly after.
  • 1950 hrs- A resident called the station to report receiving threatening emails. An officer took a report on the incident.
  • 2033 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2146 hrs- Officers assisted another disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2237 hrs- Officers investigated a disturbance at the Red Roof Inn. Everything checked out ok.
  • 2323 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.

Tuesday, November 25, 2014:

  • 1144 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Winter Street business.
  • 1333 hrs- A resident of Main Street reported that a suspicious male party opened their mailbox, and then left the area. After checking the area, officers reported negative findings.
  • 1834 hrs- Officers responded to the Cordaville Road area to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 2016 hrs- Westborough Police requested mutual aid from Southborough Police with checking a burglar alarm at a business in their town.
  • 2252 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Hickory Road residence.

Wednesday, November 26, 2014:

  • 0246 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1050 hrs- A motorist called to report debris in the roadway on Turnpike Road. The responding officer safely removed the debris.
  • 1222 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1228 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Woodland Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1341 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road residence.
  • 1529 hrs- Officers responded to a three car, motor vehicle accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1602 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on White Bagley Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1645 hrs- Framingham Police requested mutual aid from Southborough Police in locating a motorist that committed a Hit & Run in their town. Officers checked the Turnpike Road area with negative findings.
  • 1711 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1713 hrs- Officers investigated another one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1724 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Woodland Road. The vehicle had struck a telephone pole, but there were no injuries reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1744 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1859 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2007 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Northboro Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2101 hrs- A medical was reported at a Newton Street residence.
  • 2318 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.

Thursday, November 27, 2014:

  • 0135 hrs- A motorist reported that a vehicle struck a guard rail on Turnpike Road, then fled the scene of the accident. Responding officers checked the area with negative findings.
  • 0626 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1246 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Northboro Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1249 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a wire down on Middle Road. The wire was located and Verizon was notified.
  • 1505 hrs- A medical was reported at an East Main Street residence.
  • 1545 hrs- An officer investigated a vandalism report at a School Street residence.
  • 1746 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Burnett Road residence.
  • 1816 hrs- A medical was reported at a Ward Road residence.

Friday, November 28, 2014:

  • 0057 hrs- An officer on patrol located a motorist that had left the scene of an accident in Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury police were contacted and advised.
  • 0136 hrs- An officer assisted the Fire Department with a power line fire on Rockpoint Road.
  • 0631 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
  • 1052 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
  • 1114 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1218 hrs- A solicitor registered at the police department.
  • 1240 hrs- A motorist reported that snow/ice from the roof of another vehicle smashed the windshield of their vehicle on Turnpike Road. The vehicle was located and stopped, so that the two parties could exchange information.
  • 1618 hrs- Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 1638 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1748 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Gilmore Road residence.
  • 1842 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Blueberry Lane residence.
  • 1847 hrs- Officers responded to Marlboro Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.

Saturday, November 29, 2014:

  • 1023 hrs- A medical was reported at an Oak Hill Road residence.
  • 1156 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Killam Farm Lane residence.
  • 1210 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.

Sunday, November 30, 2014:

  • 0047 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious person outside of a Cordaville Road business. The individual checked out ok.
  • 0110 hrs- ARRESTED: An Ashland man was charged with OUI Alcohol.
  • 1208 hrs- A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1415 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
  • 1848 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 2042 hrs- An Orchard Road resident called to report a scam phone call.
  • 2310 hrs- Southborough Officers checked the Hopkinton town line area for a missing juvenile out of Hopkinton. The juvenile was later located in Ashland.

Monday, December 01, 2014:

  • 0144 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 0218 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 0817 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1034 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a hunter in the area of St. Martin Drive.
  • 1118 hrs- A motorist from Hudson, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
  • 1122 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 1350 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
