It marked the end of an era for the editor’s family and the Southborough Fire Department. According to Linda Hubley’s post. for the first time in 70 years, no Hubley is a member of the SFD:

An an accident on the MassPike left emergency personnel with a doozy of a cleanup job.
In late January, SFD personnel underwent Advanced Cardiac Life Support training using a new simulation manikin purchased through a Metrowest Health Foundation Grant.
