by beth on April 29, 2015

On Thursday, May 14, 2012, the Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) will host its fifth annual Go the Distance Award ceremonies.

The evening honors district staff and community members who have made a significant contribution to enhancing the life of a student with special needs.

Organizers are looking for nominations for this year’s awards:

Any family member or guardian of a child with special needs in Northborough or Southborough—whether or not that child has an in or out-of-district placement—is free to make a nomination. All of those who are nominated will be recognized.

In past years, families have been encouraged to nominate bus drivers, teachers, cafeteria workers, paraprofessionals, those in support positions, students, and community members such as babysitters, dentists, hairdressers, librarians, neighbors and more.

The nomination deadline is this Saturday, May 2. You can download complete information including the online nomination form here.
