  • Woodward/Finn Principal’s Coffee (9:30 am) @ Finn School: Volunteers & Room Parent Orientation
  • ARHS Fall Sports Night (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, Auditorium: Mandatory meeting for student athletes participating in fall sports. (Optional, but encouraged, for parents.) The athletic department and coaches outline school and league rules, regs and procedures.

  • NSPAC Coffee and Connect (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council’s monthly gathering. It’s a chance for parents/guardians to connect with other members of the community facing similar challenges. Each meeting also includes a specific discussion topic (chosen by participants) to share and brainstorm on challenges or unmet needs. Meetings generally take place the first Wednesday of each month. This year, the first four sessions will be held at the Southborough Library. Beginning in January, meetings will move back to the Northborough Library.
  • Legos at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Public Library: Children are welcome to come build with Legos, and display their creations in the Children’s Room. Legos will be provided, but all materials need to remain at the library. Parents or caregivers must stay with children during this event.

  • Woodward School Photo Day
  • Baby and Toddler Story Time (weekly program – resuming for fall) (11:00 am – 11:30 am) @ : This story time is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each session will include puppets, stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required. This program takes place most weeks throughout the school year, except for major holidays and school breaks.
  • 6th Grade Parents’ Stone Orientation (5:30 – 6:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School: Trottier’s informational night for parents of 6th graders to learn about the planned 2 night trip to Stone Environmental camp in October
  • Trottier Curriculum Night (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School
  • ARHS – Senior Parent College Night (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School

  • Chair Volleyball (8:30 am) @ Southborough Senior Center, Cordaville Road: Seniors are invited to join the fun No experience necessary—your body has to stay in the chair (which makes it so much more fun) — great to move (as much as possible Or come watch the fun if that works best for you!

  • Troop 1’s 100 year anniversary cookout (4:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Pilgrim Church,15 Common Street: Southborough’s first Boy Scout troop is marking its centennial. The troop is planning a cookout to mark the milestone. Past, present, and future members of Troop 1 and their families are invited to the event: They will be serving Burgers, Hot Dogs, Salads, and Desserts If you are looking for more information on the party, or have pictures to share with them, email troopis100@gmail.com.

  • St. Anne’s Church parish picnic (11:30 am) @ 20 Boston Road: All are welcome to join in the fun – enjoy delicious food, games for all ages and music. Catch up with your neighbors and meet new friends! The festivities take place following their 10:30 am mass. Lunch food will be provided, but attendees are asked to bring along a dessert to share. I was told there should be plenty of seating, but feel free to bring a picnic blanket if you prefer. For more information, call the parish office at (508) 485-0141.
