This Thanksgiving marks the 10th Annual Gobble Wobble. It’s Friends of Southborough Recreation’s big annual fundraiser. And this year, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Special Olympics.

Planning Board drops appeal due to lack of legal counsel; Selectmen continue to deny request

The Planning Board filed a motion to withdraw their appeal against the Zoning Board of Appeal’s decision on Park Central. Chair Don Morris told selectmen they made the decision because they didn’t have independent legal counsel to guide them.

Two selectmen viewed the withdrawal as making the petition and request moot. But the petition organizer and the Planning Board chair disagreed.

Southborough Youth and Family Services, Trottier Middle School and the SOS are inviting the community to learn how to help kids/teens find balance in a digital world. To do that, they are sponsoring free public showings of Screenagers.
