As promised, I’m taking a look back at Halloween in Southborough, through pictures.

A couple of readers sent in shots of their favorite trick or treaters:

Arroyo family as the Scooby Doo crew The Taylor family went full out zombie! Halloween fun was the only theme for the Fruhan crew

I solicited more contributions from the Southborough Library and from SYFS’ Halloween Party:

Library trick or treaters SYFS' annual party was a monster bash Kids weren't the only ones in costumes Volunteers dished out treats others served up frights

Southborough schools and Algonquin shared some of their holiday fun through social media.

Finn School held its annual parade. You can click here for their Facebook album. Below is their video from Halloween morning.

Trottier and NECC tweeted out and posted some pics of Halloween fun. (Click here for NECC’ Facebook album)

Algonquin’s DECA chapter used Halloween as a way to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club through their 3rd annual 5k for the Kids:

Algonquin administration used twitter to run a contest between school departments for best costumes. Here are some of my favorites:

ARHS PE and Health asked kids to get physical 80s style Cafeteria Cookies made lunchtime fun ARHS office angels ARHS science constructed homemade costumes ARHS Fine Arts

ARHS Social Studies may have learned some campaign lessons from history. Their colorful 80s flashback snagged the most votes, beating Phys Ed by 0.9%:
