  • Know the Signs of Alzheimers (10:00 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: “Know the 10 Signs” This workshop is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. We’ll separate myth from reality and address commonly-held fears about Alzheimer’s in America. Hear from people who have the disease and find out how to recognize the signs in yourself and others. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Winter Ecology & Nature Journaling (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Designed especially for homeschool children, ages 9-14, this hands-on, 4-week program will engage students in a farm-based experience that’s equal part fun and educational. Member Child: $24; Nonmember Child: $30. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Bowling (Senior program) (1:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Sawyer Bowling Alley in Northborough: Meet at the Senior Center to carpool at 12:30 pm. Suggested Donation is $5 for 3 games. Please pre-register by calling 508-229-4453. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Music for kids with Dave Garden (11:00 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Join us for a fun time with music, singing, and dancing! This program is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. All are welcome. Registration is not required.
  • Barnyard Brew Hike (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Celebrate the full moon each month with a night hike guided by lunar light, topped off with local brews. For ages 21+; $12/member, $20/non-member of The Trustees of Reservations. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Saturdays at Fay – Mike the Bubble Man (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Fay School’s Primary School, 23 Middle Road: Through music, choreography, and comedy bubbles come alive, sparking imagination and wonder. Free to attend but registration is required. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Art Workshop for Children (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Children ages 5-9 are invited to be a part of the drop in art workshops. (Siblings allowed.) This session, the focus is creating “My Dream” collages. Registration is not required. The workshop will be run by Bigelow Center for the Arts’ Lanting Huang-Truong.
  • Light Up Sledding Lanes (5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: If nature provides enough snow, the farm will provide lit lanes for night sledding. $5 per sledder. For details, see dedicated post
