Over the weekend, Gonk Boys Basketball played at TD Garden as part of the Good Sports high school invitational. (Click on link below for some great pics by local media.)
The big leprechaun seems to have thrown luck the Boys way.
Scratch that. . . The players deserve kudos for a win that was more likely based on practice-honed skills. The team’s 71-53 win over Westford Academy was in keeping with the its performance this season.
The team is one of Algonquin’s best performing teams this winter. Boys Bball has a 10-2 record and is on a 4 game winning streak.
A few other T-Hawk teams are also racking up big wins this season. The Girls Swimming/Diving team’s record is 9-1, Boys Hockey’s is 8-3-2, and Girls Hockey’s is 8-4.
