Here is a selection of the committee and board meetings for the week along with my selected highlights from the agendas. All these meetings are open to the public, so you’re welcome to stop on by.

  • Economic Development Committee, 5:30 pm @ Southborough House of Pizza, 5 Main St (agenda) Agenda Highlights: The EDC is hosting a public meeting of downtown business and property owners. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss how the EDC and the Town can assist local businesses in minimizing the disruption from the Main Street reconstruction project, and to update businesses on the EDC’s upcoming Urban Land Institute Technical Assistance Program. Although the meeting will focus on our downtown businesses, residents are also welcome to attend.
  • Golf Course Conservation Restriction Committee, 7:00 pm @ Cordaville Hall, Rooms A and B, 9 Cordaville Rd (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Review any new drafts or updates; Plan CR final Review Process
  • Recreation Commission, 7:00 pm @ Recreation Office, South Union Building, 21 Highland St (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Discuss BOS meeting presentation for 3/6 and Warrant Articles
  • Public Works Planning Board, 7:00 pm @ DPW Conference Room, 147 Cordaville Rd (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Downtown constraints, drainage, preliminary discussion, EDC plans; Preliminary discussion on Transfer Station rules, regs, funding and capital
